I wanted to make it easier for you to find information about our yoga sessions without always have to search for the email or text message I sent you. Yoga Style
I teach traditional Hath yoga and I am certified to beginner and intermediate yoga levels. My specialty is preparing the body for moving into common poses without strain. Therefore, I focus on proper form (safety), breathing and warm-up. This methodology is also beneficial for ensuring that your body is more fit for everyday movement, fall prevention and building your strength. As such, my warm up period is approximately twice as long as traditional yoga practitioners and not recommended for those who are seeking a fast-paced or strenuous yoga practice. However, you will be well-prepared and less prone to injury for an aggressive fitness exercise after one of my sessions. Because of my emphasis on body preparation, I do ask that you try to arrive on time so you can enjoy the full warm-up period.
Date and Time (This class is on pause until 2025.)
I teach almost every Sunday morning 9:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. If I am not available I make every effort to inform you at least 24 hours prior via a Whatsapp group text. The Zoom link is for every Sunday in 2024. I recommend you test your video and audio prior to the class to ensure you can maximize your time upon arrival. Keep in mind that if you cannot see yourself fully in Zoom that means I cannot see you fully either. Adjust as needed. In order to keep you safe, it is important that I can see your full body.

Cost
Public Class(es): My Sunday drop-in sessions are donation-based. This means you come and pay what you like. This also means you can participate for free. I receive donations that range from $0 – $10-$20 +. I teach the session whether there is one person or no persons so I can keep my teaching commitment to myself. If you get lucky and we’re just one-on-one, I will try to customize the class to meet your specific physical needs that day.
Private Sessions: $60 – 1 hour. First session is free and lasts approximately 30-60 minutes to assess if we are a good working match.
